It’s water and it’s falling. Today’s other option was a thermometer reading 100.7. I knew something wasn’t right when we got to the waterfall (about 3 miles in) and I had only half a liter of water remaining in the 2 liter Camelbak I usually carry. No, it wasn’t leaking… in just over an hour I had consumed 1.5 liters of water. That is an unusually large amount for me normally. We cut out the overlook and the other portion of the trail that had another waterfall and an overlook. When I got back home, I drank some more water and laid down for some rest. At least my temperature is closer to normal now.
