Thursday night was girl’s night at the District Tournament. I was there to cover the West High School game at 6:30 and the Bearden High School game at 8:00. I experimented with a different setup this night that would allow me to shot the assigned teams for both halves using my strobes. Not a completely failed experiment, but it’s a setup I probably won’t try again until I get some really powerful lights. William Blount played strong and forced turnovers that ultimately lead to them eliminating West from the tournament.
